The Autism Awareness Campaign UK was a Finalist in the Asian Woman Awards for Excellence 2007 at an evening at the Bangqueting House in London on Saturday 24th November 2007.

Autism was mentioned for the first time at such a gathering. The evening was hosted by Asian Woman Magazine in London. Theevening highlighted the needs of all people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Among those who supported Ivan and Charika Corea of the Autism Awareness Campaign UK were Dame Stephanie Shirley and Autism Speaks UK, Baroness Pola Uddin and others.
